Ext Christmas market
(Music by Michael bubble: have yourself
a merry little Christmas)
A blurred medium shot of Christmas lights
and decoration comes in focus as the camera does a tilt movement as it comes
down and shows all the lit up shops and people walking around the market, a
slow pan movement is done by the camera to show a long medium shot of the
market. A cut is made to show another view of the market then a video
transition (cross dissolve) is made as a medium shot of the another view of the
market appears, the camera zooms in slowly into the Christmas light then a
video transition is made showing a medium shot of a different market as people
walk by and enjoy the market. A straight cut is made to a close up of some
Christmas cakes then the camera zooms out into a wide medium shot showing an
enormous pile of cakes.

has returned once again in the city’s famous Christmas Markets.)

Eight sites in Manchester city centre have came alive
with festive cheer for six weeks as the popular international markets come to
town.
A close up shot a decorated stall zooms out in a wide shot ,showing the products and a pan movement from the camera is made to show all other different stall on that particular site.
as a zoomed in high angled shot zooms from the whole christmas market allowing the camera to capture every single stall and people from the market is made, a video transition ( cross dissolve) is made leading into a medium shot of the decorated christmas trees roofs of the stalls then a final video transition is made ( fade-in-fade out).

As the shot is still dark a voice by the presenter ( callum ) is heard as he introduces interviewee ,the the medium two shot of the presenter callum and the stallolder interviewee is shown as he has his interview then a video transition is made (fade in fade out).

A video transition is made from callum's update to a low angled medium shot of the enormous santa claus in town center is shown disSolving into a medium shot on the santa as the camera makes a tilt movement on a stall with callum on the left side of the frame as he informs the viewers on that particular stall and its organisation, a cut is made of the products of that stall but with callum's voice in the background. another cut of a medium shot of callum as he makes a brief summary of summary of that store.

The Manchester Christmas market is the uk’s largest
seasonal market , beating the next biggest in Birmingham by more than 100
stalls as it is a gorgeous attraction particular at night, with a very special
atmosphere.
A long shot is made showing a line of stalls and people walking by ,then a cut is made to a medium shot of people walking by the camera with some out of focus decorations in the background of the frame. a medium low shot of the decorated market at night time is made, leading into a pan movement of the camera as the whole decorated line of stalls are shown, looking absolutely gorgeous ( night time footage).

A medium two shot is made of callum and his next stallholder interviewee, halfway through the interview a cross dissolve transition is made showing the products of that stall with the interview audio still in the background ,a straight cut to an over the shoulders shot of callum and the stallholder is made as the interview ends then a transition is made ( fad in fade out).

More footage of the christmas market is shown from a different site ( albert square) as a video transition is made leading into an over the shoulder shot of callum as he interviews a stallholder from that site, half way through the interview a cut is made then a wide medium shot is shown of that stalls products ,as the interviews audio is still in the background, then another cut is made going back to the footage of the interview as it comes to an end with a video transition (cross dissolve).

For the 15th year running stallholders from
around the world have been welcome. Last year 1.5 million people visited the
albert square site alone , generating tons of millions of pounds for the
economy.

But this year is special because for the first time
the market have spread onyo corporation street , while more stalls than ever
before will grace exchange square.
A close up shot a stall is shown then a quick zoom out and pan movement is made , as the camera shows the beauty that is the new corporation street christmas market site.

This year the manchester christmas market celebrated its 15th anniversary as it encouraged everyone to try sweets, dutch mini pancakes relaxed with hot chocolate, german, spanish or french beer and even french wine.
A wide shot of the town center stores is shown as the camera makes a pan movement to a wide medium shot of the christmas market and people eating.

Different stallholders from different countries were selling amazing food, drinks and handmade products. some were returning from last years christmas market as selling their products on the christmas market is a tradition they follow each year, and some others do it as a seasonal part time job for the holidays

The majority of the public members thinks that even though the christmas market are a bit pricy, hey still help spread the christmas spirit and excitement.

The christmas market has helped the economy more than ever this year by spreading to corporation street, allowing more stalls to bring in more economy and help spread the christmas joy worldwide all from Manchester.
A wide shot of the general public members walking past market at corporation street is shown then a final video transition is made ( fade -in- fade out) .
The credits are shown at the end of the documentary with an uplifting christmas song by the one and only justin bieber- santa claus is coming to town
